Archiving and Digital Preservation
LOCKSS Archiving System
The Journal of Green Chemical and Environmental Engineering utilizes Open Journal Systems (OJS) with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) framework to ensure long-term preservation and security of published content. All articles and metadata are digitally archived to maintain integrity, accessibility, and resilience against technical failures.
Distributed Preservation Network
Through participation in the global LOCKSS network, journal content is distributed across multiple libraries and archival systems. This decentralized approach provides redundancy, safeguards against data loss, and ensures continuous and reliable access for readers and researchers.
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
In addition, the journal is supported by the PKP Preservation Network, which provides secure digital preservation for OJS-based journals not covered by services such as CLOCKSS or Portico. Archived materials are stored in protected environments and remain accessible in accordance with the journal’s open-access policy, ensuring long-term global availability.
